Here are some pics of the Christmas lights at Nagoya station! They are really awsome! The bottom right lights are the pictures the Japanese people see in the stars! The station is like a mini animation with all the stars moving etc. Keep in mind that the bottom right lights cover about 9 stories of the Nagoya station building! :)

Flea Market in Nagoya!
I came to Nagoya yesterday! YAH! Today i went to the biggest flea market in Japan! Josh, Yoichi and his sister had a store at the market and we were supposed to be there early this morning.. didnt happen of corse! We ended up getting there just before 10am and by then we wernt allowed to use the carts to take all the boxes in to the stall so we had to carry everything by hand! And of course our stall was on the far side of the grounds... rrr... My arms are killing me! Anyway while everyone was working at the stall i managed to do a whole day of shopping and bargaining with the stall owners!!! (you have never seen so many stalls!) It was exhausting but awsome!
At the end of the day Josh, Yoichi and his sister made me nabe for dinner for helping them! mmm it was well worth the sore arms :)

Ninja Temple
Today was a public holiday here in Japan... Labour thanksgiving day..... so i went to Kanazawa and visited the Ninja Dera or Ninja Temple!!! It was really great! The temple has 4 floors and 7 layers but from the outside is only looks like 2 layers because they wernt supposed to have buildings anymore than 3 stories high back in the Edo period. The temple was moved by the third lord, Toshitsune to its current location in 1643. This Temple also known as Myoryuji has braved the elements for more than three hundred and fifty years and survived world war 2. It has 23 rooms and 29 staircases. It has loads of secret rooms, trick doors and even a suicidal room where once you were in you couldnt get out and was often used for the ninja`s who lost battles..here they would have to kill themselves by slitting their own stomachs. It also has a water well which is made out of the same stone as Kanazawa castle on the other side of the river... Apparently there is an underground tunnel from the temple to the castle but this is yet to be discovered! Its such a fabulous, interesting and mysterious place! Go see it!!
p.s... I also found the Body Shop!! YAH!!!

Welcome to my Blog :)

Hi everyone!
Welcome to my Blog (teehee, I love that word!)
Now you can read about what I have been up to and hopefully I will be able to figure out how to attach pici`s for you all too J It will also help me- I wont have to repeat my weekends so many times…. Not that I mind of courseJ I will try to update it as much as possible.
For starters, everything is going great!
Last night I had to go to a recording studio and record some English stuff for a speech contest. I have never been to a recording studio before so it was great fun! After reading the “Brown bear, brown bear, what do you see? And little blue and little yellow books we did some short conversations, and for the whole 15 mins of work we got a whole extra day of paid leave and a banquet for dinner! The people in the rotary club who organizes the speech contest are like millionaires and paid for all our dinner (and wouldn’t accept “no thank you, im full” for an answer) Got driven there and back in a really awesome Mercedes with as many buttons and gadgets as the bat mobile! Had a blast!
Anyways its nearly knock off time..
